is the second largest
Croatian
island

connected
in Osor with a swing bridge
to the island of
Losinj.

an unusual
natural phenomenon is the
freshwater lake.
The lake
that supplies
drinking water
to
the islands, it covers
5.75 km.
The surface
is higher
than the sea,
while
its bottom
is
74 m
below the
sea surface.
The archipelago
of
islands of Lošinj comprises
(74.68
km2),
and the smaller
islands
Unije,
Ilovik,
Susak, Vele
Srakane
and other
uninhabited
islands.
