Dugi Otok
... for nature lovers far off the beaten tourist track! You can reach Dugi Otok, a picturesque island in Dalmatia, by ferry (1.5 hours travel time) from Zadar.
Surrounded by crystal clear blue waters, you can reach the sea from both pebbly and sandy beaches. The little hamlet of Božava is located in the Northeast of the island surrounded by pinewood forests.
The well-known diving school has meant that the area has become a popular holiday destination for sailors and divers. This is also the location of the Božava hotel complex situated directly in a charming little bay by the sea.
