Rental contract
1. The hotel room and the pitches may only be used by persons who are registered in the rental agreement.
2. The rental price includes the details described in the catalogue. The prices are quoted in the rental agreement. Other fees or
charges (e.g. local taxes, registration fee) at the campsite are to be paid on site. Local taxes and registration fee in Hotels you have to pay at Happy Ferien.

3. Registration: The tenant is obliged to register himself at the hotel reception or at the camp site immediately on arrival.
4. Check in/Check out: The hotel room and the pitch may be moved into from 14.00 onwards. When checking out, the hotel room must be vacated by 11.00 and the pitch must be vacated by 13.00 at the latest.
5. In the case of the rented property not being vacated on schedule by the tenant, without previous arrangement with the landlord, a 100 % house rent surcharge will be charged for the excessive time. Furthermore, the tenant is to behave towards the landlord without complaint concerning any claims for compensation.
6. The tenant is not permitted to rent out the rented property to a third party (or to acquaintances without the consent of the landlord or the staff at the reception).
7. Responsibilities of the tenant: The tenant is obliged to treat the rented property with care and respect according to the rules and regulations.
8. Hotel and camp site rules and regulations: The tenant is bound to abide by the rules of the respective hotel or camp site at which he/she is staying. A contravention of the hotel or camp site rules can lead to a termination of the rental agreement by the hotel or camp site. In this case no claims can be asserted against the landlord. The landlord is not liable for any matters regarding the hotel or the camp site and which cannot be influenced by the landlord. Furthermore, no legal claim can be made against the landlord concerning the hotel room or the pitch (e.g. the site, position, location, size, condition etc.), as this may only be determined in agreement with the hotel or camp site.
9. Insurance: The tenant is liable for any damage incurred by himself/herself caused intentionally or by gross negligence or by the fault of his/her travel companions and guests. The landlord cannot be held responsible for theft of or elementary damages done to any personal belongings of the tenant (car, bicycles). We recommend that the tenant takes out a sport and accident insurance.
10. Criminal Law/Customs Regulations: The landlord is not liable for any criminal liabilities and customs violations made by the tenant. Please ensure that your passport or identity card is valid for the duration of your trip.
11. terms of payment:Your signature means you are responsible for paying a deposit of 50 %, which is due on the camping units and the sailing boats and 20 % on the hotels and apartements. With the receipt of the signed rental agreement and the payment, the rented proberty will then be officially reserved in your name. Shouldn´t we receive deposit within 14 days, we cancel the contract. The remaining payment is to be paid without promptin 3 weeks before commencement of travel.
12. Cancellation: If the tenant cancels the rental agreement, a cancellation fee of € 37,- is to be paid. Furthermore, the following cancellation clauses will be implemented: cancellation up to 60 days before the rental begins: 20 % of the rent; cancellation up to 30 days before the rental begins: 50 % of the rent. Cancellation from the 29th day before start of agreed rental period: 90 % of rent. If a loss of the house rent surcharge can be proved due to the cancellation, the landlord has the right to charge a fee to cover the loss of the house rent surcharge. In this case, the cancellation fee is inapplicable. In the case of illness, which must be confirmed with a doctor’s certificate, the money will be refunded to the guest after the cancellation fee of € 37,- has been deducted.
13. You are able to make the first change of reservation FREE OF CHARGE – for every other change of reservation, an administrative fee of € 10.00 will be charged. If changing a booking, it is not possible to change the duration of the stay. Modified bookings must still take place within the year of booking. If a stay is cut short, the terms of cancellation come into effect.
14. The hotel categories: Please note that the official categorisation for Croatia applies and cannot be compared with other countries. (* very simple category, ** simple category, *** medium class, **** upper medium class).
15. Ocean front side: A room which is either directly on the ocean front side or on an ocean side doesn’t necessarily have a direct view onto the sea. This view can be obscured by bushes, trees or other objects.
16. Light entertainment programmes: In the early part of the season and the post season, some activities e.g. light entertainment, animation or sports programmes in the hotel may be limited due to the low occupancy of the hotel. Informations you will find in our catalogue.
17. Camp beds: Please notice not all camp beds are for adults suitable.
18. Small pets: Small pets are allowed on all camp sites. In hotels pets on request!
19. The landlord is responsible for this rental agreement being shown to the tax and revenue authorities for the purpose of assessing the fees.
20. The court of jurisdiction in Liezen is the relevant and competent court of justice for any disputes regarding this rental agreement.
